Love's Ascent.

‘Love’s Ascent’.  

  The philosopher and poet are allied,

Fond of beauty, seeing beauty aright,

Her truth and wisdom she’ll provide.

Beauty as thine sets my world alight.   My arguments and discourse, by you

Being forever present, never absent,

Are elevated to what’s good and true,

With love’s delight and love’s ascent.   Loving you with such love profound,

Giving my mind wings, releasing me,

Toward higher things forever bound,

And bringing forth what’s best in me.   Love is generation, love gives birth

To beautiful dreams. In her mystery,

In her light, albeit I rose from earth,

With you have I found immortality.
