Love Song.

Love Song.

‘Love Song’.

My amorous feelings I must express.

Love being such a blissful affection.

What is inward, so outward to press,

As luscious juice from a watermelon.

Such diverse shades of love dear one,

Of all I need to articulate and clarify,

Of ecstasy, exhilaration and devotion,

Of fondness and veneration to ratify.

Of making settled fair items elusive,

Of salvation, joy in passion’s thrall.

Of respect and admiration effusive,

Of honest humours I make public all.

With loving you love finds its voice.

So, like a modest maid at her debut,

Rhymes appear for my heart’s choice,

Love for you makes me sing for you.
